A Love Story

The story of Burgundy Arabian Stud can be compared to that of a romance novel. Our love for the Phara horses is longstanding, and over the years has been the driving force behind our breeding program and goals.

I have often asked myself, “why have I dedicated my life as those before me to this amazing ancient Arabian bloodline?”

I have questioned, “how will I know how to accomplish what at times is the most heartbreaking undertaking I have ever experienced?” “Will I ever be able to live up to their ancestor's heritage in preservation breeding?“

And yet, I continue the quest, the journey, as their spirits whisper, “Follow the blood. The horses will lead the way.”
