Phara Breeding
2005 CHESTNUT MARE
Wynter Sann x Rose of Phara by The Midnight Sun

My first Phara Farm mare, Rose of Phara, was in 5 months in foal with Eve when I brought her home with me to Santa Cruz, CA from Oregon. Phara was my first true mare love! Her movements were poetry in motion. I would sit for hours just to watch her. One could say, I worshipped the ground she walked on.

Evenning Sun, daughter of the stallion Wynter Sann, a 100% Crabbet Arabian foaled 2-20-2005. She proved to be the “Boss Mare” the day she was born as she stood up and immediately and pushed her own mother off her feed within her first 24 hours of her life.

True to her nature, Eve is dark chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. Like her mother, she is a poetic mover, with stamina to endure the trail and go the distance under saddle. And yes, she still earns the ranking of Boss Mare as she takes care of the others while out in pasture and stands between them and any other predator who may approach. Just ask the wild boar she pummeled all the way down the pasture and cried, wee, wee, wee, all the way home!
